“Came into the game, no one replace me”…
While at that point, the statement was valid, it seems it’s shaking and no longer valid at this point.
His arch rival, Davido is blowing up things in the US, gaining traction, fame, relevance and he’s also getting invites to concerts and shows.
How many concerts has the Starboy been called up to perform so far this year?
Probably just under 5. For Davido, it’s uncountable. Every week, Davido has a show he’s been invited for. Every week, his song “Fall” keeps ascending on the Billboard chart.
“Fall” keeps rising on Urban Radio charts in the US. Every day, a radio station plays Fall, probably his biggest hit so far in his career.
All these didn’t happen with Wizkid when he was in the spotlight after releasing his album “Sounds From The Other Side“.
“Fall” has been remixed by several foreign acts and it’s just April, the fourth month of the year but Davido is already doing Wonders Wizkid failed to achieve.
Not to discredit Wizkid, the Starboy had a wonderful run in 2016-2017 with the “One Dance” fame and “Come Closer” but 2019 seems to be the year of Davido.
We all knew Wizkid is Nigeria’s Starboy and most famous artist abroad and at home Davido is running the show but it’s 2019 and the game is changing already.
But guys, what do you think about this? We’ve got some question for you all.
Is Davido Already Outshining Wizkid On The International Scene?
Can Davido Surpasses Wizkid’s Achievements On The International Scene?
We want to hear from you all.
